Love this piece. With the subtle shading of the shadow, the tarantula looks like it’s about to *jump* off of the wood. Such detailed, precise work.
Trompe-l’œil would be a fun idea for a holiday card. Or a tarantua trompe-l’l’œil holiday card! Haha!!

Dad showed me this piece on Sunday Morning on a Texas artist who remakes masterpieces in bronze…so blind people can see and experience them with their hands! Awesome.
